During 2024 Sandwich is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of renowned children's author, naturalist, and conservationist Thornton W. Burgess. The sweet illustration on the back of the shirt is from the treasure trove of Burgess material we are fortunate to have in our Town Archives.
